the care they need, while at the same time helping ease the burden
being placed on our providers.

Testing and treatment of COVID-19
the last three months, we have waived member cost shares on all
in-network services (both inpatient and outpatient) related to
COVID-19 testing and treatment. We are pleased to announce that we
will continue with the waiver of member cost shares for these
services through Sept. 30, 2020.
addition, member cost shares will continue to be waived for all
in-network telehealth visits directly related to a COVID-19
diagnosis through Sept. 30, 2020. For all other covered telehealth
services, including behavioral health, beginning July 1, 2020,
normal plan cost shares will once again apply.
communicate these upcoming benefit changes with your employees as
soon as possible.
note if your group is self-funded: If you wish to continue to waive member cost shares
for telehealth related to a diagnosis of COVID-19, please reach out
to your BCBSNE account team by June 12, 2020.
